Yesterday I received a box of the late Robert Maxwell’s ceramic tools. This box is a great reminder that ceramicists don’t always need fancy tools to create art. Sometimes a broken wooden handle can create a really great texture in clay.
For the past few months I’ve stepped away from the wheel + have been coil building pots. It’s been fun learning something new + listening to the clay in a way I hadn’t before 🤍 #weedpotwednesday #coilbuiltceramics #modernceramics
