This wheel-thrown weedpot is finished in a semi-transparent crackle glaze that created a soft, natural grey surface over the dark stoneware body. The iron in the clay rose to the surface during the firing, creating subtle freckles and tonal shifts that give the piece a beautiful atmospheric depth.
