This larger vessel was coil built from a dark stoneware clay. Layers of white glaze flow over the surface and drip freely, allowing areas of the bare clay to remain exposed. The contrast between the deep brown body and the flowing white glaze creates a quiet tension—raw and refined at once. While the opening of this piece is larger, it is not recommended to use this vessel to hold water, as it may not be fully glazed inside.
